Campervan Village is part of the Rental Car Village; it’s a family business. Rental cars and campervans can be hired from Auckland and Christchurch.

We design and build our own campervan fleet for independent travel and living. However you may not see our campervans while traveling in New Zealand. Our vehicles have no sign writing, and most our campervans are simply painted white, because we try not to stand out.

Online quotes and bookings include travel maps, roadside assistance, gst (sales tax), insurance and unlimited km; there are no hidden costs. We have two models of campervans to select from.

Micro Campervan
It’s a compact Campervan for two people containing a double or two single beds, an awning for standing room and mosquito net to provide fresh air when sleeping with all doors are closed. Electrical connection is included.

Economy Campervan
Prepare meals while resting on the day sofa or standing within the awning. Interior furniture includes a cabinet, table, double bed or two singles and double gas stove.

Insurance (included):Standard excess is $3,000
Our insurance policy is very simple; if you have an accident, you are required to pay a maximum of $3,000. This covers both single vehicle and multiple vehicle accidents. A Credit or debit card bond is required, and you can drive on sealed roads only (no driving on unsealed roads).

Zero Excess (optional): $22 per day or maximum $590 per hire
If you have an accident, you do not have to pay anything. This also covers multiple tyre punctures and one windscreen. No bond is required, and you can drive on both sealed and unsealed roads.

We provide unique campervan rental and hire service in New Zealand. With over 70 years of experience in this business, we assure you our vehicles are of good quality. We are proud to say we design and build our own vehicles for your living and accommodation needs.

Different types of campervan hire and rental

Customers are able to choose from 2 types of vehicles: the micro campervan and the economy campervan. Both come with basic amentities ,kitchen cooking/eating utensils, a water container, hanging light, awning, electrical connection for holiday parks, and a mosquito net which slips over the front passenger window.

Campervan rentals across the country

With two branches across country, customers are able to hire and rent in Christchurch and Auckland. Customers are able to rent the vehicle in either city, and drop the it off one of those cities.
